I have too faced the issue, sent an mail to Apple regarding the same.

URLSchemeHandler can intercept image but cannot intercept XMLHttpRequest because of CORS limitation.

I have too faced the issue, sent an mail to Apple regarding the same. Right now it is still a limitation. WkWebView can not intercept the HTTP & HTTPS requests like Android.
